Tidan, cut around the legs of this bastard, there’s no way were letting this guy get away again! “I’m on it; keep it distracted, the last thing I would is for its hind legs to kick me of the edge of the Cliffside. While Tidan charged towards the giant four legged dragon the other one was waiting for the right opportunity to strike. The huge beast eyed up Tidan as he sprinted towards it swords outstretched. Just as the dragon thought he was going to snatch his prey lifting his claw up ready to strike, Tidan shouted “NOW!” to his partner. As Tidan clashed with the dragons red claw his sword simply clanged against its giant claw. But this was what he had been hoping for. Tidan retracted from his foe and dove to left just in time for His partner to throw a well-aimed flask of pink concoction high up into the air, which came beautifully down to hit the beast directly in the face. The flask smashed and the dragon let out a deafening roar, it had been temporarily stripped of its sight and blood now slipped down the creatures stinging eyes. “Now quick Aven, get back around the mountain side, I’ll deal with this one”. Aven did as commanded and sprinted off around the mountain side and to cover. This was the moment Tidan needed. The Hunter got ready to charge at the beast but as the creature aimlessly moved around it had decided that it was only fighting a losing battle. It raised its long outstretched wings into the air sending a gust of air that sent Tidan off his feet from his battle stance and down to the snow. But he wasn’t let it get away that easily. He quickly jumped back up to his feet with ease and without any doubt charged at the beast and ducked his head so he could stow under it. The Dragon was only just about to raise up into the sky and flee when Tidan swung his dual blades with relenting force both aiming for a different part of the dragons legs. The dragon roared even louder as steel reacted with flesh and bone and blood spurted atop the snowy cliff. Tidan dove out from under the dragon and ran to a safer distance as the huge beast fell down onto its side. The beast roared even louder this time in blinding pain and agony, without the use of his legs he was unable to gain enough power to take off from atop the White Mountain. He was trapped and now had no chance of escape except the merciless kill off a Hunter. The Hunter who threw the blinding concoction now appeared into sight from where he was told to hide and was clapping wildly for his partner. “Well done master, one of your best kills yet I reckon” “Thanks you Aven, but this Dragon is not yet dead, just seriously wounded, (And about to die he whispered softly”) “Anyways I’ve decided since you did so well with that finely made concoction of yours I would honour you the purpose of finishing this fine creature off”. Aven looked up in awe at his master and smiled. But at the same time, he felt guilty. “No, I can’t. You finished it I just simply distracted it, I wasn’t really that much of a help. I can’t just steal you’re kill, especially not a beast like this”. “Don’t be a fool; if it wasn’t for you I’d be planted at the bottom of this cliff right now with a dragon circling me thinking of the best ways to eat me. Your concoction gave me the perfect opportunity to get under the beast while remaining undetected, until I mostly destroyed its legs anyways. Now, either kill this thing or I’m just going to leave it here for nature to take”. Aven looked longingly up from the now screeching half dead creature bestowed in front of him and then back to his master who was looking up at the sky. “Okay I’ve decided, I will, thank you for this opportunity master, I’ll never forget it”. Tidan looked down and smiled as Aven rushed over to the almost lifeless creature and scaled its body. Aven un-sheathed his long snowy steel blade and lay it upon the Dragons huge red scaly neck being the best place for the kill. “Make sure to get a clean cut now Aven, hit hard and fast”! Aven raised his sword up into the sky and then paused for a moment. His steel sword glowed a blood red and the hunter’s eyes were now an orange fiery colour instead of the normal blue. He roared in a voice very unlike his own and went to bring his magnificent sword down upon the dragon. But this is what he was waiting for… before the now bright red sword could come in contact with it the dragon used his last remaining energy of what he had in his legs to thrust himself over near the edge of the cliff. The astounding power was enough to send Aven tumbling from atop the dragon and off onto the snowy cliffs edge where made a frantic grasp to grab onto the snowy ledge.
